Iowa Rush Soccer Club - South

Recreational 9U-19U - Spring 2018

Our 9U - 19U Recreational teams compete in the ISL Level 3 Central League which is managed by Iowa Soccer.   ISL Level 3 Central League added 9U-10U teams to their league starting with the Fall 2017 season and PSC, as well as the other clubs from our former Eastside Coalition League, moved our youngest traveling teams to the same league as our older teams.  All traveling recreational teams for Pella Soccer Club now are in the same league.  This allows consistency for teams, coaches, parents, and club operations, as well as additional features that our 9U-10U league has not had, such as Guest Player Allowance, reschedule notices through Tourney Machine for all games, and even the potential of odd-age divisions if we are ever able to roster a team of only 9U players.

  • ISL Level 3 Central League has a Guest Player Allowance process that allows coaches to request guest players from other Level 3 Rec teams within our own club, of appropriate age group in situations where they have a low roster of if they know they will be missing certain players for a game.  There are strict rules involved in the process and it is monitored by Iowa Soccer and our own club for any abuse.  More detail to come.
  • Division Placement for teams is based on a combination of factors such age group, level of strength, and experience, make-up of team in terms of new vs. returning, and geographical.  In the Spring season, the Fall results are also taken into consideration for returning teams with enough returning players.

15U-19U TEAMS - Fall 2017 ONLY -> Birth Years 2003 and 1999

Fall Season

In the Fall season, ISL Level 3 Central League offers the following Divisions for teams:

16U full-sided (11v11) - matches on Sundays - teams can be girls, boys, or coed

16U small-sided (7v7) on a 12U field - matches on Sundays - teams can be girls, boys, or coed

19U full-sided (11v11) - matches on Sundays - teams can be girls, boys, or coed

19U small-sided (7v7) on a 12U field - matches on Sundays - teams can be girls, boys, or coed

In the FALL Season, If there are not enough registrations for both a 16U and 19U team, then they are combined and play on the 19U team.

Spring 2018 Season

In the Spring season, 15U can register with the 13U-14U age group because there are still 8th graders who are 15U.  If there only a couple of 15U players, then they will be placed on a team with 13U and/or 14U players and compete in the 14U Division.  If there are 7 or more 15U players, then they can compete on their own, small-sided team which means playing 7v7 on a 12U size field.
